The jailbreak tweak Activator is probably one of the most used applications in the Cydia store, but was still lacking support for iOS 5.1, until today. Activator can be used to assign certain buttons and gestures to other tweaks and applications. In addition to the support for iOS 5.1, users will now also be able to assign buttons to pause and play music on your iOS device, and add an action when you disconnect or connect your headphone.
The update now makes sure that swipe gestures are put into good use with iOS 5, it should also resolve a number of earlier problems. In the update you will also find a large number of bug fixes and smaller changes. On FunkySpaceMonkey you will find the complete change-log.
Although Activator now supports iOS 5.1, many are still waiting for an untethered jailbreak of the latest iOS release. Users are still able to make use of a semi-tethered jailbreak, but this include a number of restrictions.
